Republican Candidates Spice up Super Tuesday

Yesterday, was Super Tuesday one of the most important days to GOP candidates. A quick recap:

Gingrich wins Georgia (his home state)
Romney wins Virginia
Romney wins Vermont
Romney wins Massachusetts
Santorum wins GOP Primary in Tennesee
Santorum wins GOP Primary in Oklahoma
Santorum wins North Dakota Caucuses
Romney wins Idaho Caucuses
Romney wins Ohio*
Romney wins Alaska Caucuses

As it seems Mitt Romney is a serious contender in the upcoming Presidential elections, his campaign in 2008 has well prepared him for the highs and lows of campaigning. Romney as most politicians do straddles the fence when it comes to controversial issues but has been vocal about the one’s close to this heart. He is not too old that young voters will overlook him and not too young that seasoned voters will be skeptical of his abilities. The issue many of the Republican candidates must pay particular attention to is back-up planning, what to do when the odds are not in your favor when bills, and other legislative ideas are presented to Congress and Senate. Being mindful of the current “sink the ship to get to the Captain” attitude that reigns over Capitol Hill will make a huge difference to voters.
